According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80-85% of all pets have periodontal disease. This number dramatically increases in animals over 4 years of age. In practice, it is the number one health problem in dogs and cats. Dental health affects the health of the heart, lungs, and kidneys, which is why daily preventive care is essential before problems arise.
Perio Support is designed to be used in between veterinary dental cleanings. It helps maintain clean teeth, fresh breath, control plaque buildup, and promote gum health. Its targeted and easy use helps maintain the animal’s healthy mouth as part of daily care.
About the Ingredients:
Natural zeolite is a unique mineral that prevents plaque formation and its adhesion to teeth.
Zinc penetrates the plaque present on the teeth and oxidizes it, reducing its reformation.
Cranberry is a source of antioxidants rich in flavonoids that enhance gum health. It also prevents the adhesion of bacteria to plaque and the subsequent destruction of underlying tissues.
Taurine, along with zinc, supports the structure and health of the gums. Intact gum tissue is important because bacteria find favorable conditions to thrive in problematic areas of the gums.
Lactobacillus acidophilus maintains the normal flora in the mouth. It competes with “bad” bacteria and helps the body eliminate them, resulting in fresh breath.
Extracts from the Yucca schidigera herb inhibit the enzymes that cause damage to the tissue structure of the gums.
Vegetable fats ensure that the product is palatable, contain fatty acids to support gum health, and help the product’s ingredients adhere to the teeth and act effectively for a longer period.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS PER 2.5 GRAMS (APPROXIMATELY A TEASPOON):
- Natural Zeolite: 500 mg
- Probiotic Blend: 355 mg
- Cranberry Powder: 25 mg
- Yucca Schidigera Extract: 7 mg
- Taurine: 1.25 mg
- Zinc (Zinc Ascorbate): 0.8 mg
Inactive Ingredients: Anise oil, calcium carbonate, dried extract of Aspergillus niger, dried extract of Aspergillus oryzae, fenugreek seed extract, silicon dioxide, vegetable fat, whey, soluble fermentation products.

Precautions: Safe use in pregnant animals has not been tested. If the animal’s condition does not improve or worsens, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian. Administer during or after meals to avoid gastrointestinal disturbances.
